Point System
The following age groups will be used for series scoring:
19-and-under
20-29
30-39
40-49
50-59
60-69
70+
The series scoring will work as follows:
10 points for each race in which someone participates
10 bonus points
for winning your age group, nine points for second place, eight points
for third, etc.,
down to one point for 10th place
Additional bonus
points for placing in your age group based on the number of runners
eligible for a series
award in your age group (6-10 runners = 2 bonus
points, 11-15 runners = 3 bonus points, 16-20 runners = 4 bonus points,
20+ runners = 5 bonus points)
In case of a tie
in the final standings for one of the top four places, a runner who has
participated in all three races
will be placed ahead of someone who has
participated in just two races. If there's a tie involving two or more
runners who have participated in the same number of races, the tie will
be broken as follows:

Each runner's
second-best age-group finish
Each runner's best overall finish
